    I was born and raised in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, Il.  In 1980 my new husband and I, longing for a less hectic and more peaceful life became "urban refugees".  We researched our options and finally decided on the Southern Black Hills, because of the  semi-arid and mild temperatures throughout the year, yet only an hours drive to snow skiing and snow mobiling in Lead. The Hills features something for everyone from Deadwood's historic gaming town, Keystone's Mount Rushmore and located only minutes to Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park and thousands of acres of Black Hills  National Forest Service land.     Jonathan Uhl was born and raised in Hot Springs South Dakota. He attended Jamestown College in Jamestown, North Dakota and currently is purusing a degree in Humanities with an emphasis in business and the fine arts. While attending college, Jonathan began to invest in real estate, educating himself on basic as well as complex real estate strategies. Jonathan is an associate member of the Appraisal Institute, graduated from Dakota West School of Real Estate, and is continually advancing himself in the real estate business.

    I fell in love with real estate while I attended Jamestown College. Starting as an invester and feeling frustrated with some of the real estate agents I worked with, I decided to become a real estate agent who does not just sit in the office and wait for that call. I personally make a promise to all of my clients that I will do everything I possibly can... no matter what the job entails.
